The Serbotel fair is held every other year and is geared towards all those active within the restaurant, bakery and food industry. The fair attracts some 30 000 visitors and about 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest in products and development.
The high point of the Serbotel fair is the awards ceremony where the best inventions and new products are chosen. This year iPinium won in all three categories:
Le prix Serbotel de l’innovation, an award to the invention that gives the customer, the distributor and the professionals within the restaurant and meat industry the most added value.
Le prix Serbotel du developpement durable, an award for sustainable development. iPinium received the award for best invention with regards to environmental as well as social and societal considerations.
Le prix Serbotel de la nutrition, an award rewarding a new product that promotes health and wellbeing and possesses good nutritional qualities.
– It’s fantastic, being recognised like this. It’s truly unexpected and unique to win in all the categories. That has never happened before in the entire history of the fair. But the most pleasing thing is that we won in competition with heavyweights such as Turbochef and others. We’re talking about companies with an annual turnover of several million dollars. And since the fair is only held every other year we get to keep our titles for two years, says iPinium’s CeO Stephan Forsström.
